Midea Group, a Fortune 500 company and the world’s leading air treatment brand by production volume, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team. The role can be remote or based in our Pordenone, Italy office.

  1. Stay updated on product launches and transitions to support sales and service programs.
  2. Develop new business opportunities with Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer agents, OBMs, and OEMs, and build customer rapport.
  3. Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, operations, product management, and quality teams within customer organizations.
  4. Deliver presentations on new products, project timelines, quality, and technical training.
  5. Document market and customer insights and relay information within the organization.
  6. Assist marketing efforts by monitoring market trends, regulatory activities, and gathering customer feedback.
  7. Support team members in achieving KPIs.
  8. Participate in promotional activities and trade shows regionally and internationally.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  2. 5-10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or R&D.
  3. Familiarity with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products.
  4. Understanding of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets.
  5. Excellent communication skills in English and at least one European language.
  6. Motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  7. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including weekends.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is advantageous.
  10. Knowledge of Chinese language is a plus but not required.
