The Arlettie showrooms are designed as showcases, and each week they reflect the identity of prestigious brands in fashion, jewelry, leather goods, and accessories.

Recently, Arlettie expanded its private sale network by launching an e-shop, aiming to bring the thrill of 2.0 shopping to a broader audience. With a client base of over 300,000 members, Arlettie curates a calendar of exclusive sales, offering its community a unique shopping experience.

Role Description

As Country Manager – Italy, you will be responsible for recruiting, supervising, and managing Arlettie Milano’s Back Office and Floor teams. You will also be actively involved in business development and financial management for our Milan subsidiary.

As a true ambassador for Arlettie, your responsibilities will include:

Event Supervision:

With the support of dedicated Account Managers and your Retail team:

  • Ensure flawless execution of each event (from offer delivery to management of remaining items, maintaining impeccable inventory quality, upholding high merchandising standards, and managing customer traffic, etc.)
  • Build and maintain brand relationships and satisfaction.
  • Monitor KPIs for each event.
  • Implement and oversee group retail processes and standards.

Showroom Operations:

  • Oversee showroom operations and ensure the perfect presentation of our space.
  • Monitor construction and site activity.
  • Improve the showroom’s layout and functionality.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers.
  • Supervise showroom maintenance.

Business Development:

  • Manage the Business Development team in coordination with the Paris-based group team and Arlettie’s Executives.
  • Actively contribute to strategic planning.
  • Negotiate with future partners until the service contract is signed.
  • Actively participate in building and optimizing our event sales calendar.

Marketing & Membership Team Supervision (3 people):

  • Define strategic CRM action plans.
  • Oversee operational implementation and data management.
  • Optimize marketing tools in collaboration with our IT department.
  • Monitor membership and VIP subscription development.

Company Management:

  • Prepare annual budget forecasts in collaboration with Management.
  • Monitor actual budget throughout the year.
  • Compare the P&L of each sale to the forecasted budget.
  • Reconcile data and results at year-end.
  • Provide regular reporting to Arlettie Executives and the Finance department.

Human Resources Management:

  • Manage the Human Resources Manager.
  • Monitor expenses against budget for each event.
  • Manage onboarding of new back-office staff.
  • Actively participate in building the ideal organizational structure (including recruitment).

Profile Requirements

Graduated from a prestigious business school, with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in retail and team management.

HARD SKILLS

  • In-depth knowledge of the fashion and luxury sector, with strong product sensitivity.
  • Purchasing experience.
  • Confirmed experience in B2B client relations.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in retail operations.
  • Ability to manage the urgency and specific needs of event-based activities.
  • Experience as an operational account manager.
  • Fluent in Italian, with French and/or English proficiency.
