We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer and integrator of energy storage solutions to find a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team in Italy. You’ll play a key role in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining BESS installations across the country - ensuring system reliability and peak performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and utility-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems).
2. Provide on-site technical support during installation, testing, and grid integration phases.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex field issues.
4. Deliver technical training and guidance to clients and service partners.
5. Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
6. Maintain detailed records of site activities, technical issues, and performance data.
7. Ensure full compliance with safety and quality protocols during all field operations.

Qualifications:

1. Have 3+ years of field engineering experience, ideally in energy storage, power electronics, or renewable energy systems.
2. Understand key components of BESS, including inverters, battery modules, control systems, and communications protocols.
3. Possess strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently in remote locations.
4. Be fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
5. Be flexible and open to regular travel across Italy (up to 50%), including potentially occasional international assignments.
6. Hold an electrical qualification or equivalent technical certification (preferred).
