Manager - Finance Business Planning

Key Responsibilities:

The role has a broad scope, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of the company’s business plan. The primary focus will be leading all data analysis to support informed decision-making.

Main workstreams:

  1. Building business cases to evaluate new business opportunities or partnership renewals.
  2. Preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management on performance, project progress, risks, and opportunities.
  3. Collaborating with strategy teams on modeling and business plan hypotheses.
  4. Leading cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans, budgets, and a 5-year plan.
  5. Managing and maintaining a centralized repository of all business planning documents.
  6. Developing and implementing processes and tools to streamline and improve business planning activities.
  7. Identifying and recommending improvements to business planning methodology.
  8. Analyzing data and hypotheses critically, challenging assumptions, and evaluating alternative scenarios to identify more profitable options.
  9. Conducting due diligence on third-party business and industrial plans.
  10. Contributing to special projects and ad hoc analysis requests.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong background in both business and finance.
  • 4-5+ years of experience in business planning, financial analysis, or strategy development.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with PowerPoint and other presentation software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with dynamic and challenging finance projects.
