Manager - Finance Business Planning
Key Responsibilities:
The role has a broad scope, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of the company’s business plan. The primary focus will be leading all data analysis to support informed decision-making.
Main workstreams:
- Building business cases to evaluate new business opportunities or partnership renewals.
- Preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management on performance, project progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborating with strategy teams on modeling and business plan hypotheses.
- Leading cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans, budgets, and a 5-year plan.
- Managing and maintaining a centralized repository of all business planning documents.
- Developing and implementing processes and tools to streamline and improve business planning activities.
- Identifying and recommending improvements to business planning methodology.
- Analyzing data and hypotheses critically, challenging assumptions, and evaluating alternative scenarios to identify more profitable options.
- Conducting due diligence on third-party business and industrial plans.
- Contributing to special projects and ad hoc analysis requests.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Strong background in both business and finance.
- 4-5+ years of experience in business planning, financial analysis, or strategy development.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with PowerPoint and other presentation software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with dynamic and challenging finance projects.
