A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in assisting the Line Manager in achieving key objectives in line with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team performs an integral role in bringing together all function areas to ensure commercial targets are heightened. The executive role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing day-to-day administrative duties.

What will I be doing?

As PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the results of the marketing plan and activities used by the hotel to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to relevant target markets, and address hotel business needs. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Coordinate and assist with delivering all agreed marketing and PR strategies, monitor ongoing campaigns, and report performance as directed by the Line Manager.
  • Support the Line Manager by developing and implementing promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and maintaining the hotel's media library.
  • Promote the hotel's marketing activities to the media covering food and beverage, rooms, and events.
  • Support internal communications, including regional updates, press releases, newsletters, speeches for executives, and media interviews.
  • Promote and support marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, campaigns, exhibitions, and property inspections.
  • Assist with media relations, social media tracking, press kit updates, news archive management, and coordinating interviews.
  • Organize media familiarization trips and entertain local media where appropriate.
  • Assist with on-site photoshoots and filming, ensuring all administrative approvals are completed.
  • Monitor social media activity and support departmental initiatives.
  • Ensure all collateral conforms to brand standards and corporate guidelines.
  • Support loyalty marketing activities with HHonors and other schemes.
  • Implement marketing and PR content, creative resources, translation, and photography to optimize online presence.
  • Respond to customer postings and address complaints appropriately.
Managing Execution
  • Support content management across all channels, including websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
  • Develop reports on activities, results, and next steps.
  • Maintain and grow hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
  • Stay informed of local news affecting hotel reputation and inform management swiftly.
  • Assist in developing reports on marketing and PR initiatives.
  • Review third-party website content for accuracy and standards.
  • Conduct competitive analysis on marketing activities to maximize PR efforts.
  • Ensure marketing and PR archives are up to date, including media lists, press kits, and media libraries.
  • Support management in marketing and PR projects, considering budget implications.
  • Assist with crisis communication and other tasks as directed by the Line Manager.
  • Achieve performance goals and complete tasks responsibly and productively.
Developing Talent

Building Relationships
  • Establish effective communication with all hotel disciplines.
  • Develop strong relationships with Hilton personnel, media, community organizations, government officials, suppliers, and agencies.
  • Work effectively within the team and support all hotel departments on marketing and PR campaigns.
  • Maintain external relationships with media and key stakeholders.
  • Be an effective team player in all aspects of the role.
