Location: Milan or Cuneo, Italy – including Remote Working with International Travel

A Supply Chain Consultant is sought by a prominent international consumer goods group to lead IT business engagement and technology partnerships across their global Supply Chain channels. You will develop a cutting-edge Supply Chain capability to shape and inform strategy and execution across Production, Planning, Logistics, and Manufacturing channels worldwide, including ERP system implementation.

The responsibilities of the Supply Chain Consultant in Technology include:

1. Leading project delivery of ERP and other application systems solutions, including configuration, customizations, and integrations, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
2. Defining the technology roadmap in partnership with stakeholders to identify system improvement opportunities.
3. Building strong relationships with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to ensure delivery aligns with the roadmap and business goals.
4. Managing implementation projects for the Supply Chain function from inception to completion, covering Production & Planning, Logistics & Manufacturing.
5. Providing expertise on ERP systems and recommending best practices for Supply Chain processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive IT Business Partnering or Project Management experience in enterprise-scale, international environments within FMCG, Retail, or allied sectors, or IT consulting.
• Proven ability to manage complex, global technology projects following ITIL methodologies, with experience in Supply Chain and ERP solutions such as MS Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP.
• Experience with various Supply Chain tools and processes, including Production, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, MRP, MES, SCM, IBP, APO, WMS, EWM, TMS, OTM, TM, Inventory & Order Management, Demand Forecasting, S&OP, Sales & Operations, VMI, DRP, PLM, Lean Manufacturing, MTO, MTS, ETO, Industry 4.0, 4IR. Exposure to some of these is beneficial.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, global organization and to drive Ecommerce business value from data and technology strategies.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and their functionalities in Supply Chain management. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality results.
