Job Description

Synergie Italia Spa - Divisione Permanent Abruzzo/Molise is seeking to recruit for a supermarket chain operating in central Italy.

Position

2 Assistant Store Managers

Responsibilities

• Manage the store's economic and organizational aspects;
• Monitor sales performance;
• Produce periodic reports on store performance indicators;
• Manage stock levels and reordering;
• Ensure the store is clean and efficient;
• Set up, stock, and display products;
• Assist and manage customer relations;
• Handle orders;
• Oversee store logistics.

Training and Development

The training program includes 3-4 days of classroom training (with food and accommodation provided), followed by 2-3 weeks of on-the-job training at the store, focusing on specific departments.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree, preferably in economics;
• Experience as a sales assistant, department head, or store manager in supermarkets or retail, or as a head waiter, maître, or department head in restaurants or fast food chains;
• Experience in GDO, Retail, or Horeca sectors;
• Willingness to travel periodically (2-3 days a week) to Ascoli Piceno (with meals and accommodation), with eventual work at the candidate's current or declared location;
• Organizational skills and ability to relate well with others;
• Ability to work towards goals and be proactive;
• Strategic vision and results-oriented;
• Team management and sales skills;
• Comfort with computer use;
• Willingness to be territorially mobile.

Additional Information

The initial contract is for 6 months with a Level V contract under the tertiary collective agreement. After 12 months, there is potential for salary increase and stabilization.

Full-time work from Monday to Sunday on shifts, respecting store hours.
