Job Description:

ERCO is a leading company in the architectural lighting market, known for developing innovative products characterized by high quality and reliability. ERCO is preferred by high-end Key Accounts, Architects, and Lighting Designers due to its quality service and professional team.

This job description details the characteristics and tasks for the Lighting Designer position. The ideal candidate is a graduate in architecture, industrial design, engineering, with a background in electrical engineering and/or a master's in lighting design. The candidate will work in the Lighting Design Department in Milan and report to the Technical Manager.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support to Architects, Lighting Designers, Engineering Firms, and end Customers in developing lighting solutions tailored to their needs.
• Managing technical specifications and economic evaluations for public and private tenders.
• Teamworking.
• Delivering effective technical presentations.
• Communicating with the HQ in Germany (English required) regarding technical specifications and custom products.
• Organizing mockups and managing warehouse operations.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in architectural lighting design.
• Strong knowledge of lighting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of CAD software; BIM knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Dialux Evo; Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop skills are a plus.
• Native Italian speaker with proficiency in English (excellent verbal and written skills).

Other Requirements:

• Car owner and willing to travel domestically and abroad for meetings.

Workplace: Milan, with residence in surrounding areas required.
