As two leading CDMOs come together, this is a rare opportunity to join an organisation benefitted by a long-established reputation and significant backing. As Business Development Director, you will play a crucial part in driving growth for the organisation’s CDMO services across Italy.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to :

  • Identify and develop opportunities with prospects and targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with new and current customers.
  • Execute strategic sales plan to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project management, quality assurance, manufacturing, and technical teams.
  • Maintain detailed reports and manage CRM tools
  • Stay on top of market trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape.

To help propel this organisation forward under a new identity, you will bring :

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing services.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proficiency in English; as well as Italian.
