Are you looking for an enterprising, creative, international job in the world of instrumentation and automation?

Take a next career step in Yokogawa as Sales specialist Flow Meter Instruments joining a young team of Product Specialists.

In this role, the candidate (man or woman) will strengthen Yokogawa’s Flow Meter Instruments business managing assigned product portfolio, developing and executing sales, marketing and promotion activities, in line with the BU Annual Business Plan, with sales needs and with market trends.

REPORTS TO: Product Marketing Manager

As Product Marketing Specialist You

  • Plan and develop a BU Annual Business Plan (ABP) and create a sales & marketing planning for own product portfolio.
  • Provide direction to sales & marketing activities, setting targets on existing customers and new customers.
  • Develop and maintain the product portfolio, in line with the BU Annual Business Plan, ensuring that business plan targets are met.
  • Monitor and stimulate a complete and correct product administration, report to management & corporate product marketing.
  • Support Sales dept. with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Promote actively own product line, supporting sales dept., through direct visits, demos at customers.
  • Develop sales tools and training material for sales, customer service, distributors and clients.
  • Maintain market awareness and market intelligence, ensuring feedback from sales, and other colleagues.
  • Make competitor analysis/comparisons.
  • Identify addressable market size and our market share.
  • Identify new product and/or solutions for existing and/or new markets.
  • Research and analyze market conditions and articulate market requirements.
  • Support the Marketing Communications team in the development of MarCom plans, in line with the BU business and marketing plan.
  • Continuously improve and maintain technical and commercial knowledge.
  • Conduct business ethically at all times.

As Our Ideal Candidate You

  • have a technical and/or sales background (experience and/or education) focused on Industrial Automation, preferable on Analytical instruments (at least 2 years).
  • Chemical background is an edge
  • Are Italian mother language and demonstrate good English fluency in speaking and in writing.
  • Be familiar using Microsoft office
  • Are available for frequent travel in Italy and Europe (Netherland).
  • Residency in the vicinity of our office (North Milan area)

Must be able to effectively manage time, organize and manage multiple priorities; possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; enjoy working with a variety of people and have a strong commitment to company values.
