Your new role

As our new HSE junior consultant, you should have 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, Transaction, and Corporate Services, with a specific focus on Health & Safety and Environmental Compliance, or due diligence work in the M&A sector emphasizing sustainability assessment, planning, and strategy.

Candidates can work in a fully hybrid pattern from our Rome or Milan office, in line with our flexible working policy.

Your key responsibilities will be:

1. Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence
2. Execution of EHS compliance audits
3. Execution of ESG reviews
4. Participating directly in assignments, interacting with clients and third parties (e.g., lawyers, advisors, vendors/buyers, regulators), requiring strong soft skills (e.g., negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem-solving and teamwork
5. Proposal and reporting in Italian or English

You will be part of our successful team comprising engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, and others, working together in an international network on projects related to contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk, and sustainability. You will contribute to a sustainable future in an open, collaborative, and empowering culture.

About you

• A Master’s degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental/mechanical/chemical engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of D. Lgs 152/2006, D. Lgs. 81/2008, ASTM standards
• Fluent in Italian and English both spoken and written; a third language (e.g., German, Spanish, French) is a plus
• Knowledge of decommissioning, REACH, and CLP regulations is advantageous
