Duties and Responsibilities

As Director of Spa & Wellness, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient and effective implementation of Wellness throughout the hotel, working side by side with HODs, especially on offerings in the Spa and Fitness facilities to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Keeping abreast of industry trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
2. Continually focusing on the rejuvenation of the health and wellness experience.
3. Assessing wellness offerings, spa treatments, exercise classes, and fitness facilities and equipment to ensure relevance and alignment with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
4. Evaluating Visiting Practitioner offerings to maintain relevance to property offerings.
5. Arranging and conducting workshops and lectures for hosts and guests on relevant health and wellness topics.
6. Maintaining constant interaction, support, and communication with other departments to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications

To execute the role of Director of Spa & Wellness, the candidate must possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results. The qualifications include:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Wellness, Hotel Management, or a closely related field.
• At least five years of experience in a luxury spa and wellness role within hospitality, with proven results.
• Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are preferred.
• Due to local regulations, only EU passport holders or Italian work permit holders will be considered.
