Job Title: Service Technician

Serioplast, a global leader in rigid plastic packaging, is seeking a Service Technician for our headquarters in Seriate, Bergamo.

About the Role

Responsibilities

1. Perform electromechanical installation and setup of machines and auxiliary equipment (leak testers, box fillers, tray packers, stackers, cameras, etc.).
2. Provide technical support during testing and commissioning of new machines.
3. Test production lines, particularly EBM machines, pick and place systems, tray packers, control, and vision systems.
4. Support new plant start-ups by diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure timely production commencement.
5. Implement modifications for optimal line performance.
6. Collaborate with the technical office to suggest improvements.
7. Travel approximately 50% of the time.

Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Good understanding of plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM).
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar role within machinery manufacturing.
