Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer (.NET), you will support and scale our products, focusing on benefits and financial operations. You will be part of our core team, collaborating across technical and non-technical teams to develop impactful products.

Responsibilities

1. Build and enhance products to scale Kota’s operations.
2. Collaborate with teams to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.
3. Manage technical incidents, fostering a culture of learning.
4. Research, design, and implement product enhancements.
5. Develop features for web, mobile, and finance systems.
6. Transform internal workflows into self-service features.
7. Lead efforts to resolve customer-reported issues.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in backend systems development, expertise in .NET (latest versions), SQL, ORM frameworks, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Experience in fintech, payroll, or benefits is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
• Degree in Computer Science, bootcamp, or self-taught experience.
• Availability for 4+ hours overlap with GMT hours.
