Job Description:

As part of the Southern and Eastern Europe Artist and Label Partnerships (ALP) team within the Music Team at Spotify, you will be responsible for leading a team to nurture and cultivate partnerships with the region’s labels while implementing impactful initiatives and campaigns. Your goal is to ensure key artists, managers, and labels see Spotify as the top partner for artist development and monetization. You will lead Spotify’s efforts with labels and industry collaborators as a senior member of the Label Partnerships team in SEE. This role involves managing the team, reviewing industry and audience insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams at Spotify (including Editorial, Marketing, and PR) to meet strategic goals for the Music Team across Southern and Eastern Europe and globally. We seek a proven industry leader based in Milan with a strong background in music and technology, experience in fostering senior industry relationships, and proven people management skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. The leader must prioritize, multi-task, and manage complex projects and campaigns.

What You’ll Do
  1. Oversee Spotify’s relationships with labels and distribution partners in Southern and Eastern Europe, representing Spotify as an energetic and approachable senior executive.
  2. Manage, mentor, and empower the Artist and Label Partnerships team, providing vision, strategic mentorship, and problem-solving support during campaign planning, relationship building, and process execution.
  3. Track, review, and evaluate artist and label priorities and culturally relevant moments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify artists for support in promotions.
  4. Become fluent with Spotify data, insights, and tools to inform strategic marketing efforts both on and off the platform.
  5. Work directly with SEE label and distribution partners to gather insights and develop executive-level campaigns from brief to execution.
  6. Collaborate with local and global editorial teams to ensure content strategies are localized and effectively implemented.
  7. Partner with internal teams to achieve strategic goals and manage cross-functional projects.
Who You Are
  1. 10+ years of leadership or management experience in the music industry.
  2. 10+ years of experience in building global marketing campaigns or managing complex projects, with the ability to handle multiple top-priority initiatives simultaneously.
  3. A passionate engagement with the music community, with knowledge of genres and cultures from Southern and Eastern Europe.
  4. A strong background in music and technology, with a proven record in music marketing and operations.
  5. Fully conversant with digital marketing techniques.
  6. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with senior executives.
  7. A clear understanding of the marketplace, competitors, trends, and innovations, with strong industry relationships.
  8. Fluent in English and either Italian and/or Spanish, both written and spoken.
  9. A great teammate who adapts well to change with a positive attitude.
  10. Willing to travel and participate in events during nights and weekends as needed.
