A prominent engineering firm seeks an E2E System Engineer in Rome to support System Engineering activities. The role involves developing algorithms for space observation systems and requires strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach. Candidates should ideally hold an Engineering master's degree, preferably a Ph.D., and be fluent in English.

We’re hiring an E2E System Engineer within the Observation system department / E2E System Design and Verification unit. He / she has to support the E2E System Engineering activities.

Task description :

• Developing scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing, and mission analysis
• Engineering Requirements Analysis and flow-down activity
• Developing mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance
• Mission Analysis for Satellites Optical Systems
• Calibration activities for already operative SAR Systems
• Knowledge of System physical and functional architecture of satellite systems
• End-to-End Verification approach definition and execution
• Writing technical documents and project reports

Personal requirements :

The ideal candidate has to be educated to Engineering master degree, preferentially with a Ph.D. In addition, a distinctly propensity to team working is required, jointly with strong analytical and technical skills, problem-solving capability, and solid knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data. Open-minded to different cultures in working, she / he is always required to use a collaborative approach, helping to find shared solutions.
