The Senior Vice President - Development - Italy will be responsible for the successful set-up of the company's development activities in the Italian market (flexible location).

Responsibilities:

  1. Have significant work experience (10+ years) in the renewable industry in Italy.
  2. Hold a degree (Master or Diploma) in engineering, business administration, or economics.
  3. Possess a strong track record of utility-scale solar and/or onshore wind projects.
  4. Have a strong knowledge of the Italian renewable market and stakeholders.
  5. Maintain a profound and detailed understanding of relevant market dynamics.
  6. Exhibit very good communication skills, high-level assertiveness, and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels in an international environment.
  7. Be willing to travel.
  8. Be fluent in Italian and English.

Qualifications:

  1. Coordinate and lead the development, definition, and implementation of a winning market entry strategy to establish a significant long-term pipeline of wind, solar, and other new technologies in Italy.
  2. Originate, manage, and grow partnerships with local developers.
  3. Promote, implement, and enforce the company's compliance principles with all external counterparties.
  4. Negotiate and monitor agreements with local developers.
  5. Manage the full development cycle from origination to RTB or FC stage.
  6. Provide advice and support to the investment team in pipeline acquisitions, including origination, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  7. Monitor and interpret technical and regulatory developments and standards, delivering technical and non-technical reports to stakeholders.
  8. Manage relationships with landowners, permitting authorities, grid operators, regulators, off-takers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  9. Liaise closely with existing company teams such as Construction, Legal, Asset Management, Investment, and Power Markets.
  10. Build strong relationships with the development team, including developers, contractors, and external partners.
  11. Contribute to establishing an entrepreneurial, rewarding, and positive work environment as part of a high-performing team.
  12. Report to the Group Managing Director of Development.
