Role Summary:

Flowserve Corporation is a public, multinational company engaged in engineering, manufacturing, and servicing advanced fluid handling and control equipment worldwide. Our products include pumps, valves, mechanical seals, and related services. We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to prepare and execute complete valve designs, machining drawings, and calculations for "Trunnion mounted ball valves" across various categories:

• Side Entry - Bolted body and welded body
• Top Entry
• Rising Stem
• Control ball valves
• Through conduit parallel Slab Gate

The engineer will also support other organizational engineering functions related to these product families.

Activities & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of valve assemblies and machining drawings
• Collaboration with supervisors and engineering managers
• Technical evaluation of standard and customer specifications
• Execution of design deliverables in compliance with quality standards and systems
• Analysis and review of customer specifications
• Coordination with production and other departments
• Collaboration with other sites for Valbart products
• Demonstrating enterprise mindset and willingness to exceed customer expectations

Education & Work Experience:

• Graduated in Mechanical Engineering or hold a technical diploma in mechanical fields
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Ball Valve design
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Ansys
• Industry-specific experience

Transversal Skills:

• Good organizational skills
• Ability to relate to others and outside stakeholders
• Proficiency in English and Italian
