Position

The HSE Specialist, reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, will be responsible for implementing Italian health and safety regulations and shared safety standards with the Head Quarters. They will actively participate in key ongoing projects such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications and the internal 'Focus Sicurezza 0 Infortuni' project.

Job responsibilities
  1. Collaborate in risk assessment processes and preventive measures for workplace safety and health.
  2. Prepare Interfering Risk Assessment Documents (DUVRI) and verify the technical and professional suitability of contractor companies.
  3. Develop, control, and update company procedures and operational instructions related to health, safety, and environment.
  4. Manage health surveillance activities, including organizing periodic medical visits, and oversee mandatory safety training.
  5. Collect and monitor improvement actions, reported risks, and alerts from departments.
  6. Provide basic safety training for new employees and temporary staff in other departments.
  7. Prepare reports on accidents, near misses, and safety and environmental KPIs.
  8. Support supervisors in activities ensuring compliance with safety procedures and instructions.
  9. Manage purchase orders for safety and environmental supplies and equipment.
  10. Participate actively in cross-functional continuous improvement projects related to Environment and Safety, shared internationally.
Profile
  • Technical Engineering Degree or Master’s in Health, Safety, and Environment topics.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations (D.Lgs 81/2008).
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in industrial settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and team engagement abilities.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
  • Very good knowledge of English and/or French.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
