Position: Project Industrial Manager - Material Planner

Location: Bologna, Italy

aizoOn, a global independent technology innovation consulting company, is seeking a Project Industrial Manager - Material Planner.

The candidate will join the Engineering area within the Transportation division and will work as a Project Industrial Manager for a multinational company that designs and implements railway signaling infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing material procurement according to planning.
2. Ensuring proper industrialization process setup for products across various projects, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery (QCD).
3. Contributing to the maximization of standardized product usage.
4. Optimizing logistics flow strategies to reduce lead times.
5. Ensuring project inventory levels align with industrial strategy through ongoing planning updates.
6. Monitoring cash flows related to material orders to minimize inventory stockpiles.
7. Collaborating with internal departments to meet requirements by:

• Activating requests in the ERP system.
• Issuing purchase or manufacturing orders.
• Defining the production plan.
• Coordinating with purchasing and logistics departments.
• Supervising the preparation of work plans for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with clients.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience as a material planner or in material scheduling within a production environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of SAP.
