Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fund Manager to oversee and manage a team of professional traders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in risk management, team leadership, and fund protection strategies. This role requires someone with a strong ability to make objective decisions, implement effective safeguards, and foster accountability within the trading team.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management

• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of traders.
• Conduct weekly calls and one-on-one sessions with traders to evaluate performance and align strategies.
• Monitor individual and team trading activities to ensure compliance with company goals and risk parameters.
• Make hiring and firing decisions based on trader performance and company objectives.
• Develop and enforce stringent risk management protocols, including automatic shutdown mechanisms to limit losses during drawdowns.
• Analyze trading performance metrics and take corrective actions when necessary to protect company funds.
• Set performance benchmarks and stop-loss limits for traders, intervening when targets are not met.

Fund Protection and Strategy

• Create and maintain strategies to protect company funds, including limiting trading activities during adverse market conditions.
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and trader performance to inform decision-making.
• Ensure trading activities align with the company’s financial goals and risk tolerance.

Performance Evaluation

• Continuously assess trading strategies and results to optimize performance.
• Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders, detailing trading results, risk assessments, and team performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fund Manager, Trading Team Lead, or similar role in financial trading.
• Strong expertise in risk management, drawdown control, and fund protection strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of professional traders.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing trading policies and risk protocols.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to remove emotions from trading decisions.
• Experience in hiring and firing traders, as well as conducting performance reviews.
• Familiarity with trading platforms, automation tools, and data analysis software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent.
• Experience managing funds in diverse trading environments (e.g., crypto, forex, equities).
• Knowledge of automated trading systems and tools to implement risk controls.
