GETINGE Italia is looking for its future SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR SURGICAL WORKFLOWS (M/F/D).

You will lead both sales and marketing functions, aligning local strategies with global commercial guidelines.

Your mission: drive sustainable business performance, ensure P&L delivery, and develop a high-performing commercial team in a dynamic and innovative healthcare environment.

You will be part of the Italian Leadership Team, reporting directly to top management, and playing a key role in shaping the future of our surgical workflows division.

Main Responsibilities
Business & Sales Management
  • Own and manage the divisional P&L
  • Define and execute sales strategy aligned with market trends and business goals
  • Monitor performance and lead actions to achieve revenue & margin targets
  • Analyze industry landscape, competition, and customer insights
  • Select and manage the best sales channels (direct/indirect)
  • Oversee complex and strategic sales opportunities, including tenders
  • Lead major account relationships and key opinion leaders
  • Coordinate resources and optimize stock levels to match customer and company needs
  • Ensure consistent and effective reporting on all commercial KPIs
Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement local marketing plans in line with global HQ guidelines
  • Drive market analysis to anticipate future trends and opportunities
  • Align marketing and sales activities, facilitating cross-functional collaboration
  • Allocate and manage marketing resources within budget
People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Sales team to achieve targets
  • Define clear objectives and incentive schemes in line with company policies
  • Provide regular performance reviews, feedback, and development plans
  • Ensure team compliance with certifications, product knowledge, and corporate standards
  • Promote a high-performance, team-oriented culture

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Law, Management Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role
  • Proven experience in managing commercial teams, ideally in the medical device industry
  • Based (or willing to relocate) in Milan
