A PR & Marketing Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The team focuses on integrating various functions to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing specific projects related to marketing, media relations, and internal communications, along with performing daily administrative tasks.

What will I be doing?

As a PR & Marketing Executive, your responsibilities include enhancing brand awareness, communicating promotions to target markets, and addressing hotel business needs through various activities. Your tasks will include:

  • Coordinating and assisting in executing marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting results.
  • Supporting promotional activities, maintaining media libraries, and developing collateral and merchandising materials.
  • Promoting hotel marketing activities to media outlets covering food & beverage, rooms, and events.
  • Supporting internal communications such as updates, press releases, newsletters, and speeches for executives.
  • Organizing media relations activities, including social media management, press kit updates, and media visits.
  • Managing familiarization trips for media and handling media entertainment.
  • Leading on-site photoshoots and hotel filming, ensuring proper administration and approvals.
  • Monitoring social media activity and supporting departmental initiatives.
  • Ensuring brand standards are upheld in all collateral and content.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow loyalty marketing activities with programs like HHonors.
  • Implementing marketing and PR content and ensuring effective online presence.
  • Responding to customer posts and managing online reputation.
Managing Execution
  • Supporting content management across all channels including websites, OTAs, and social media.
  • Developing reports on marketing activities and results.
  • Maintaining and growing hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
  • Monitoring local news impacting hotel reputation and informing management.
  • Assisting in reports on marketing and PR initiatives.
  • Reviewing third-party website content for standards and accuracy.
  • Conducting competitive analysis and aligning marketing/PR efforts.
  • Maintaining comprehensive marketing and PR archives.
  • Supporting projects within budget and managing crisis communications.
  • Achieving performance goals set by the Line Manager.
Developing Talent

The role emphasizes self-development over team development.

Building Relationships
  • Establishing effective communication with all hotel disciplines.
  • Building strong relationships with Hilton personnel, external media, community organizations, and suppliers.
