About the Job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer will contribute to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. Responsibilities include technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit. Prior experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to innovative projects using agile methodologies and new technologies.
• Ensure backend scalability and responsiveness to support growth.
• Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data.

Required experience includes building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi and blockchain applications, familiarity with modular architecture, developing complex platforms and APIs, quick learning ability, and security best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-availability systems.
• Knowledge of Go, Rust, or C++.
• Familiarity with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
• Experience in mobile development with React Native, Flutter, or native platforms.
