A PR & Marketing Executive plays an essential role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team is integral in uniting all functional areas to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, and internal communications, along with performing daily administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As a PR & Marketing Executive, you will be accountable for the outcomes of the marketing plan and activities aimed at increasing brand awareness, communicating promotions to target markets, and addressing hotel business needs. Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and assisting with the delivery of marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting as directed by the Line Manager.
- Supporting the development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, and in-house merchandising, and maintaining the hotel’s media library.
- Promoting hotel marketing activities through media coverage of food & beverage, rooms, and events.
- Supporting internal communication efforts, including regional updates, press releases, newsletters, and speech drafting for executives.
- Supporting marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, campaigns, and property inspections.
- Managing media relations, including social media tracking, press kit updates, news archive management, and coordinating interviews.
- Organizing media familiarization trips and managing media entertainment.
- Assisting with on-site photoshoots and filming, ensuring all administrative approvals are secured.
- Monitoring and supporting social media activities and departmental initiatives.
- Ensuring brand consistency across all collateral and digital content.
- Identifying and supporting opportunities to grow loyalty marketing activities.
- Implementing marketing content, translations, and photography to enhance online presence.
- Responding to customer posts and managing online reputation.
Managing Execution
- Supporting content management across hotel websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
- Developing reports on marketing activities and results.
- Maintaining and expanding hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
- Monitoring local news affecting hotel reputation and informing management promptly.
- Assisting with marketing and PR initiatives, including competitive analysis and content review.
- Maintaining comprehensive marketing archives and content libraries.
- Supporting crisis communications and achieving performance goals set by the Line Manager.
Developing Talent
- The role emphasizes self-development over team development.
Building Relationships
- Establishing effective communication with all hotel departments and external partners.
- Building strong relationships with media, community organizations, government officials, and suppliers.
- Working collaboratively within the team and supporting hotel departments on campaigns.

Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in marketing and/or press relations within a similar environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in the native language where applicable.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- College-level education or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of marketing and PR strategies, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, budget management, and project management.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-focused approach.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for marketing and PR in hospitality.
Preferred additional skills include experience in hospitality marketing, multilingual abilities, and relevant qualifications or courses.
