Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to join our team in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector. The role involves driving sales growth through opportunity identification, customer relationship management, and delivering tailored energy storage solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of BESS technology, market trends, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Main accountabilities include:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies, pursue new business opportunities (utility-scale, C&I, microgrids), and meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships, understand customer needs, and ensure client satisfaction.
  3. Technical and Market Expertise: Stay updated on BESS technology, market trends, and regulations; collaborate with technical teams for solution design; deliver product presentations.
  4. Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare proposals, lead negotiations, and collaborate with legal, finance, and engineering teams.
  5. Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams; provide market feedback; participate in cross-functional meetings.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Track sales metrics, analyze market data, and maintain CRM data.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or power systems sectors.
  • Strong understanding of BESS technology and complex sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Skills
  • Technical knowledge of grid-scale and behind-the-meter energy storage.
  • Experience with renewable energy project financing and market regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build trust, be self-motivated, results-oriented, and work under pressure.
