Program Manager

Leap29 have partnered with a prominent client that leads utility-scale solar PV, agrivoltaic and battery storage initiatives, backed by a prestigious global investment portfolio.

Our client is searching for a Program Manager to supervise a pipeline of Solar & Storage projects from the development phase through to construction. Acting as the local representative and primary point of contact for development partners, the Program Manager will ensure that company standards and policies are adhered to in all projects.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the definition and development of reporting tools.
• Scheduling and coordinating regular updates (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Identifying risks and implementing corrective measures.
• Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensuring deadlines are met and preparing for internal approvals.
• Coordinating with external service providers.
• Supporting project evaluation, both technically and economically.
• Organising and coordinating steering committee meetings.

This role is based in Milan, with regular travel within Italy and occasional travel to the London office and other destinations in Europe.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in project management and delivery, with a focus on large and complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies and techniques.
• A good understanding of the broader objectives of the program.
• The ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals involved in program management.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Fluency in both Italian and English.
• Knowledge of the renewable energy sector.

• A relevant university degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
