Descrizione del lavoro

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions has an opening for a Lead Researcher in the Energy Chemicals Solutions division, focusing on R&D of chemicals for Oil & Gas production, transportation, refineries, and petrochemicals. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrochemistry, chemical additives, and structure-property relationships relevant to the Oil & Gas sector. This is a laboratory scientist position involving chemical bench work.

Responsibilities:
  1. Engage in research, development, and commercialization of innovative treatment programs for hydrocarbon processing applications.
  2. Develop and perform customized lab tests to evaluate chemical efficacies.
  3. Establish specifications and physical testing requirements for new products.
  4. Contribute to material productivity improvements, including IP landscaping.
  5. Interact with customers and internal teams to assess market needs (up to 20% travel).
  6. Manage 2 to 4 projects simultaneously.
  7. Participate in customer interactions, field visits, and technical discussions.
  8. Contribute to new idea generation (NPIs).
  9. Support product development lifecycle with commercial teams, supply chain, and vendors.
  10. Communicate research findings through reports and presentations.
  11. Execute tasks related to NPI/RTS initiatives.
Experience Required:

Hands-on laboratory experience of 3-8 years.
