Greenvolt Power Italy is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute directly to the design and execution of our renewable energy projects. This role involves active participation in the design, supervision, and construction of large-scale renewable energy initiatives, primarily focusing on solar PV, onshore wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key accountabilities

1. Provide professional engineering advice and technical support for the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects, focusing on solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS.
2. Understand project design drawings and participate in discussions with designers and BOP Contractors.
3. Collaborate in tendering processes (RFQ / RFP) regarding technical requirements and design.
4. Support the definition, preparation, and control of documentation to ensure timely project construction.
5. Coordinate with procurement to prepare technical documentation and scope for external bids.
6. Schedule project steps for efficient, timely, and cost-effective construction.
7. Supervise construction phases to ensure permit compliance and quality standards.
8. Report project status, recommend solutions, and communicate potential risks to the Board.
9. Manage payment approvals and documentation in line with project schedules.
10. Coordinate internal information flow among teams such as Development, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.
11. Manage technical, schedule, H&S, and quality issues during construction.
12. Engage with stakeholders during grid connection processes.
13. Collaborate during construction to resolve design issues in coordination with EPC contractors.

Qualifications

• Engineering background, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• 5-6 years of experience in renewable energy projects, mainly PV and wind farm construction.
• Experience with components and equipment used in large-scale wind, solar PV, high-voltage lines, and substations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, Windpro, Wasp, PVsyst.
• Availability to travel across Italy.
• Knowledge of local grid connection regulations.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Analytical skills and good understanding of project design drawings.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Teamwork and reporting skills.
