Highlights:

Key Responsibilities

• Interpretation of business rules and functional and non-functional requirements to define technical specifications based on an architectural design provided in terms of interaction among systems, data exchange, transformations following a specific design methodology.
• Participates and cooperates in shaping activities, participates in feasibility analyses for new or upgraded initiatives (Epic and User Story), assessing impacts for IT, and supports developers during the development phase.
• Performs detailed, functional, and technical analysis/design.
• Provides test support and problem determination.
• Collaborates in defining new suppliers and contractual requirements.
• Breaks down requirements and technical solutions into appropriate sections (User Story), examining costs, benefits, and risks of various options before selecting an approach; explains and justifies decisions logically and systematically.

Key Capabilities/Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development projects, preferably within Agile methodologies.
• Experience in designing backend solutions and developing applications using Java on/with the J2EE platform, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Excellent knowledge of the existing IT architecture relevant to the domain and technical flows.

• Problem-solving skills to find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments.
• Analytic skills for creating end-to-end solutions.
• A team player mindset with a 'make it happen' attitude, eager to learn, and capable of coaching others.

• Main areas of knowledge include:
• Microservices architecture and domain design models.
• Advanced experience in developing REST & SOAP application services.
• Knowledge of the relevant domain's technology landscape at the application level.
• Proficiency in DBMS and SQL (e.g., Oracle, PL/SQL).
• UML standards.
• Understanding of Agile paradigms and Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of retail banking business.

12 months - FULL REMOTE - FREELANCE ONLY - NO permanent employment - Daily rate between 250 and 280 euros - English contract - VAT exempt.
