We are seeking ambitious and self-driven candidates for the position of a Full Stack Software Engineer to expand our multi-site development team in Pisa. Our team develops financial innovation products that enhance our clients' revenue generation capabilities and help maintain our leadership in the fintech market.

In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and collaborate closely with product management. You will work within a full-stack, collaborative, and innovative team environment that encourages research into new technologies and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, coding, and debugging software
• Improving the performance of existing software
• Providing training to other engineers
• Maintaining and upgrading existing software
• Recommending new technologies to increase productivity
• Supervising technical aspects of projects
• Investigating software-related issues and implementing necessary adjustments
• Participating in team meetings to discuss projects and solutions

Your skills and experience

• Familiarity with programming paradigms such as Object-oriented, Concurrent, Functional, and Asynchronous programming
• Experience with frameworks like Node.js, React, Angular, Spring
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with ATDD and TDD tools and practices
• Familiarity with CI tools and best practices
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and relevant IDEs (Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, etc.)
• Ability to handle complex systems
• Understanding of functional requirements and contribution to solutions for non-functional needs
• At least 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Ability to work effectively in multi-functional, self-organized teams
• Rigorous and professional approach to work
• Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization

Academic background

• Preferred: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Engineering or Science from top-ranked universities in Engineering and Technology
