Job Description:

To strengthen our global Digital Business Development team, we are looking for an E-Commerce & Digital Merchandising Specialist. This global role enables and empowers local/market operational management and execution of digital sales channels, to pursue a true omnichannel approach and achievement of the business results across all channels.

Our purpose is to globally develop, scale, and empower the digital and digitally enabled businesses and relationships of our sales and marketing organization via scalable, sustainable, and profitable solutions. In the global Digital Commerce and Merchandising service, we ensure consistent brand visibility and availability in all relevant digital channels by constantly creating, improving, and optimizing the various digital shelves via persona-based and mission-focused offerings, maximizing growth options and financial viability.

YOUR TASKS
  1. Deploy the global Digital Commerce & Merchandising growth strategy and roadmap, developing best practices and guidelines for local markets for successful end-to-end market execution.
  2. Identify and ensure best practices/guidelines for local implementation to support successful market execution (e.g., sales & merchandising plan, business review, budget/forecast/KPIs, JBPs, etc.).
  3. Support local markets in achieving commercial success & business objectives in digital channels with different business models (marketplace, omni-retailer, own store, quick commerce, social commerce).
  4. Deliver evolutionary and operational consultancy in sales and merchandising to local teams, identifying weaknesses and enabling growth & evolution improvements.
  5. Collaborate with internal global teams to drive organizational progression and with local/market teams to empower channel management and execution.
  6. Maximize the use of digital sales tools and platforms (e.g., own e-commerce, syndication) and their functionalities to ensure ROI and adoption.
  7. Manage projects for implementing initiatives to evolve digital commerce and merchandising activities.
  8. Operationally set up and drive global channel management (e.g., Alibaba.com).
  9. Support ecommerce platform and marketplace accounts (e.g., Seller Central, Vendor Central).
YOUR PROFILE
  1. 3-5 years of experience in similar roles with global-local setups (D2C, FMCG/CPG, Retail are strong advantages).
  2. Commercially driven, solution-oriented, and data-driven.
  3. Knowledge and experience in Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Online channel management.
  4. Strong personality, proactive, with good organizational skills.
  5. Highly committed with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Excellent knowledge of English and Italian; German is a plus.
