Embedded Systems Requirements Engineer – Electric Propulsion Systems

Turin, Italy | Full-time | On-site | 5+ years of experience

Based in the heart of Italy’s automotive innovation hub, this role focuses on defining, managing, and validating system requirements for embedded platforms used in electric propulsion systems for EVs and drones. You will play a critical role ensuring alignment between hardware, software, and system-level teams to deliver safe and reliable products.

Must have:

• Strong expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Proficiency with requirements management tools like IBM DOORS or Polarion
• Experience with functional safety standards ISO 26262 and automotive process ASPICE
• Solid understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and embedded systems design
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional hardware and software teams

Additional skills:

• Familiarity with system verification and validation processes
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Knowledge of electric propulsion system components and architectures
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications
• Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders
