RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Manager Aerospace to join its office in Firenze (Campo Bisenzio) within the Aerospace & Defence Division.
Mission
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / subcontractor manager to join our office in Firenze (Campo Bisenzio).
Key Accountabilities
- Creation of the WBS and Project baseline, in collaboration with the Program Manager/Chief Engineer, taking responsibility for defining the plans and assigned project schedules.
- Subcontractor / suppliers management, with the PM dealing with both the various programs and suppliers, interfacing with colleagues from the commercial side and institutions for technical reviews.
- Identification and monitoring of the project critical paths.
- Supporting the definition of future order scenarios for workload forecasting.
- Collaborating with Finance to support the preparation of annual and five-year Business Plans, including defining sales milestone plans.
- Managing the daily activities of the Project Control staff dedicated to its contracts/projects.
- Cost control and calculation of the overall project (EAC - Estimate at Completion) every 6 months.
- Risk management (financial and operational).
- Coordinating project resources, especially focusing on the Project Business Team.
- Establishing and managing project workload forecasting.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in the Aerospace sector.
- Tools: MS Office, Project, Eclipse (nice to have).
- Certification required: PMP, Prince2, or equivalent.
- Willingness to undertake mission trips throughout Italy and Europe.
- Proficiency in English (B2/C1) and solid experience in Project Management issues.
Education
Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or General.
