The Role

About the role:

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing valuable financial insights to support the company's financial health. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Payroll Management
• Financial Reporting according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• German Tax Compliance

Ideal Profile

Your experience:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with general accounting practices and German accounting regulations and systems
• Knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with ERP Next is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English; knowledge of German is a plus
