Competenze

Park Hyatt Milano is a 5-star luxury hotel located in the heart of the city, overlooking the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and just steps from Piazza del Duomo and La Scala opera house.

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for supervising the assigned station/section of the outlet kitchen to ensure the preparation of consistent, high-quality products and to provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service.

As Chef de Partie, you will report directly to the Pastry Chef.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  2. Provide excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.
  3. Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently, ensuring issues are satisfactorily resolved.
  4. Oversee the assigned station/section and relevant associates to ensure food is prepared according to required standards.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the station/section at all times.
  6. Follow standard recipes and minimize waste to help keep the outlet’s food costs within budget.
  7. Train associates as necessary in the preparation and presentation of items.
  8. Suggest alternative menu items, accommodate specific customer requests, and interact with customers to meet and exceed culinary expectations.
  9. Ensure all company minimum brand standards are implemented, and optional standards are applied where appropriate.
  10. Collaborate supportively and flexibly with other departments, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  11. Stay updated on the availability of seasonal and new market products.
  12. Handle all operating equipment and supplies carefully to minimize damage and waste.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel.
  • 2-3 years’ experience as Demi Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel.
