Job Description:

Overview

Leonardo, in partnership with BAE Systems (UK) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Japan), is engaged in the GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme) to develop a next-generation aircraft system, described as a 'system of systems'. This multidomain defense operation system features a core platform connected to peripheral 'adjunct' systems, both manned and unmanned.

This ambitious program aims to revolutionize aerospace and defense technology over the next fifty years, strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the involved nations by fostering innovative, enabling technologies that will ensure a generational leap, economic growth, and social progress for the entire country, benefiting future generations.

Position

Within the Tech Integration Team, we are seeking a Project Engineering Management professional for our office in Torino - C.so Francia.

Responsibilities

1. Support data transfer requirements within LDO sites and with partners, capturing needs to support the operational Engineering Plan, engaging all relevant engineering teams in accordance with processes, approaches, and tools.
2. Coordinate the engineering team, prepare internal materials for exchanges with partners, supporting reviews and internal and international engineering activities.
3. Monitor progress through periodic status checks of assigned actions.
4. Contribute to periodic inputs from the unit to Program Management and International Programme & Partnerships Development units for planning and reporting as required by the program.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
• Junior/Expert level with 3-4 years of experience.

• English certification (CAE/FIRST, TOEFL, IELTS) plus.
• PMP certification plus.
