Overview

Grafton Engineering, a dedicated team within Gi Group Spa, specializes in enhancing the experiences, skills, and potential of candidates in areas such as Design, Logistics and Supply Chain, Production & Maintenance, Quality - Safety and Environment, and Project Management.

We are seeking a recent graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Biomedical Engineering to join an important company that produces small electromechanical components and systems. The role involves working within the Technical Office, reporting to the Manager, and designing mechatronic components.

Responsibilities

• Develop projects using technical schemas or data, optimize solutions, determine proportions, tolerances, dimensions, and select materials. Conduct design reviews and analyze potential failure points.
• Create 3D and 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings according to ISO standards.
• Develop bills of materials, conduct feasibility studies, analyze prototypes, and perform benchmarking studies.
• Make modifications to existing products.
• Coordinate with the client's technical area and/or commercial interface.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of design software (preferably Pro-Engineer/CREO).
• Basic understanding of electronics, mechanics, electrical engineering, and hydraulics.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components involved in product development.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping systems.
• Good command of English language.
• Teamwork attitude.
