Position Purpose

Dedicated experienced refrigeration technician responsible for Field Service activities on refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and production systems (civil and industrial installations).

The candidate will be responsible for commissioning, routine and extraordinary maintenance on air and water chillers, including scroll, screw, centrifugal compressors, and absorbers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance accurately according to defined protocols to ensure optimal functionality and longevity of the chillers.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement appropriate solutions to restore proper unit operation promptly.
• Identify potential technical improvements and modernization activities for refrigeration units and HVAC systems serving buildings.
• Support and collaborate proactively with the sales network to determine the most suitable technical solutions for the end customer.
• Prepare clear and precise intervention reports to communicate activities performed and/or recommended to the client.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

• High school diploma (electronic or electrical technician or similar).
• At least 5 years of proven experience with major HVAC brands' refrigeration units (scroll, screw, centrifugal, absorbers).
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and mechanical operation of systems, especially HVAC data-center maintenance, with practical skills in brazing and electrical installations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong customer management skills.
• Possession of F-Gas certification.
• Residence preferably in the Milan, Lombardy area.
• Owns a car (driving license B).
• Willing to travel nationwide.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Knowledge of French and/or English.
• Knowledge of automation, control, and monitoring systems.
• Experience with data-center installations.
