The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in a large hotel or cruise line, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.

Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the operational management of all Housekeeping functions. They may be assigned to manage specific areas such as accommodation, public areas (day/night), crew areas, or pool areas. This position provides direct support to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager to ensure that division objectives are met and that day-to-day operations in Accommodation, Pool, and Public/Crew areas are maintained to standard.

The Housekeeping Supervisor possesses a keen understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional service to ensure guest and team satisfaction while providing strong leadership to all team members. In accordance with Royal Caribbean International’s Royal Way, all employees conduct themselves professionally and courteously, engaging in physical and verbal interactions appropriately with guests and colleagues.

Hiring Requirements:
  1. Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a large 4- or 5-star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line, or related hospitality industry, with demonstrated experience supervising at least 10 employees.
  2. Extensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, safety procedures, and equipment use, including personal protective equipment and job safety analysis related to chemical handling, lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment, and garbage removal.
  3. Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate software such as Excel, Word, or related company programs (e.g., SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia, Kronos).
Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of English is required. Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish is preferred.
