Job Description

About your future role

As our Manager of South Security by Design & Delivery, you will be part of the Group Security by Design & Delivery (SDD) department, within the Group CISO Area of the Nexi Group. The SDD is an international team operating at the Nexi Group level, with a mission to ensure security requirements are integrated into all Projects across the Group and to manage Security Projects and Delivery within the Group CISO Area. SDD comprises two teams: Secure Design and Security Delivery. The Manager will lead the Delivery team, supported by Security Project Managers located across various European countries where Nexi Group has a presence.

Your Key Responsibilities In This Role Will Be

1. Enable company security by ensuring the Security Delivery team achieves its outcomes, including delivering centralized and coordinated security requirements into Business and IT projects, and managing security projects.
2. Develop, coordinate, and enforce procedures and productivity standards.
3. Contribute to the development and execution of the Group-level Security by Design & Delivery strategy.
4. Manage team members' daily activities to meet objectives.
5. Communicate job expectations, monitor, and appraise team results.
6. Define team objectives, evaluate trends and options, select courses of action, and assess outcomes.
7. Support the establishment of strategic team objectives by gathering relevant business, financial, service, and operational information.
8. Manage financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, expenditure scheduling, variance analysis, and corrective actions.

Qualifications Needed To Be Successful In This Role

• University degree, preferably in IT
• Excellent command of English and Italian (both written and spoken)
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including 2+ years in similar roles
• Strong understanding of technical Program, Project, and Delivery management
• Excellent leadership and management skills in an international, multicultural environment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and strict deadlines
• Good understanding of information security principles and practices
• Knowledge of security technologies, frameworks, architecture, and engineering principles
• Outstanding communication skills for diverse audiences
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills with practical solutions

• Experience in highly regulated environments, such as financial sectors (e.g., PCI, GDPR, NIS, DORA)
