Store Manager - Merano C.C. "Algo Shopping Center", Merano

Location: Merano, Italy

JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981 with a single store in northwest England, is now one of the leading Multi-Channel retailers of sports and outdoor fashion in the UK and Europe. The group has over 2,400 stores, caters to various retail segments, and prides itself on offering customers the latest products from top brands.

The Store Manager plays a key role in leading the store.

1. Achieves commercial objectives and consistently grows KPIs;
2. Manages costs and optimizes store profitability through sales strategies.

Personnel Management:

1. Ensures optimal staff organization within the store;
2. Participates in staff recruitment in collaboration with the People department;
3. Develops and motivates staff, promoting career progression within the group;
4. Ensures quality customer service following procedures;
5. Handles complaints professionally and effectively;
6. Maintains the store's overall presentation in collaboration with the merchandising team to improve profitability;
7. Communicates product launch guidelines to staff and ensures proper execution.

Logistics / Loss Prevention:

1. Manages merchandise inflow and outflow;
2. Participates in loss prevention and control efforts alongside the Profit Protection Manager;
3. Oversees daily cash operations.

Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience managing structured retail stores, preferably in dynamic and multinational environments;
• Good knowledge of English;
• Leadership and strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proficiency in Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel);
• Career progression oriented;
• Experience in a young, dynamic, and expanding international context;
