The Offer

• Develop a new React application integrating real-time data, with excellent design and trading UX.

The Job

Our client is seeking an exceptional Frontend Developer with strong React expertise and an eye for design to enhance our trader workstation. You will work on features processing millions of real-time market data points, presenting them in visually intuitive and actionable formats for traders.

This is a part-time (20h/week), long-term contract position.

Responsibilities include:

• Architecting and implementing new features for a real-time trading platform
• Designing and building responsive, high-performance user interfaces for live market data
• Developing interactive technical charts and data visualizations
• Optimizing application performance for real-time data processing
• Collaborating with product and backend teams for seamless trading experiences
• Developing and maintaining internal tools and admin systems

Candidate Profile

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of state management (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Experience building complex, data-intensive applications
• Backend development experience with Node.js
• Expertise in performance optimization and memory management
• Excellent UI/UX sensibilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency with CSS/SCSS and responsive design
• Strong testing and debugging skills

Nice to Have:

• Background in real-time data visualization
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Python
• Understanding of financial markets
