A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The team focuses on integrating various functions to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing projects related to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As a PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for executing the marketing plan and activities to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions, and address hotel business needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and assist with marketing and PR strategies, monitor campaign performance, and report results.
- Support development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, and media library maintenance.
- Promote hotel marketing activities to media outlets across various channels.
- Assist with internal communications such as updates, press releases, newsletters, and speeches for executives.
- Support marketing and PR activities including events, sponsorships, campaigns, and property inspections.
- Manage media relations, social media monitoring, press kit updates, and media database maintenance.
- Organize media familiarization trips and manage on-site photoshoots and filming.
- Support social media activities and ensure brand standards are maintained across all collateral.
- Identify opportunities to grow loyalty marketing with HHonors and other schemes.
- Implement marketing content, translate materials, and optimize online presence.
- Respond to customer postings and manage reputation issues.
Managing Execution
- Support content management across hotel websites, OTAs, and social media.
- Develop reports on marketing activities, results, and next steps.
- Maintain and grow hotel databases for campaigns.
- Monitor local news affecting hotel reputation and inform management.
- Assist in reporting on marketing initiatives and reviewing third-party website content.
- Conduct competitive analysis and ensure proper content archiving.
- Support crisis communication and achieve performance goals.
Developing Talent
- Focus on self-development in this role.
Building Relationships
- Establish effective communication with hotel departments and external partners.
- Develop relationships with media, community organizations, government officials, and agencies.
- Work collaboratively within the team and support hotel departments on campaigns.

- Experience in marketing and/or press relations in a similar environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in the native language depending on location.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
- College-level education or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of marketing and PR strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, budget management, and project management.
- Commercial awareness and adaptability.
- Effective interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality marketing and PR.
Preferred additional capabilities include previous hospitality industry experience, multilingual abilities, relevant qualifications, and experience working with media and design agencies.
