As part of our MSc International Business program, we are seeking a Professor in Organization & People Management to teach and guide students in foundational and advanced database concepts.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Organization & People Management course, covering both theoretical principles and practical applications. Key duties include:
- Delivering engaging lectures and interactive workshops on topics such as:
- The International Business Environment: Understanding globalization and its impact on organizations.
- Culture and Cross-Cultural Communication: Exploring Hofstede’s cultural dimensions and their implications in business.
- Motivating and Leading Across Cultures: Leadership styles and employee motivation in diverse workforces.
- Cross-Cultural Negotiation & Decision-Making: Strategies for effective communication and business success.
- International Human Resource Management (HRM): Best practices for managing talent globally.
- HR Strategy & Operating Models: Aligning HR functions with organizational goals and strategies.
- Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability: The triple bottom line approach to business.
- Knowledge Management: Strategies for managing intellectual capital in multinational organizations.
- Developing Cross-Cultural Competence: Skills and frameworks for global business success.
- Managing International Teams: Strategies for leadership and collaboration in multicultural settings.
- Organizational Structure & Control: Designing structures that support international operations.
Assessing students through assignments and final projects.Incorporating real-world business challenges and best practices into the curriculum.Qualifications & Experience
- B2 or C1 English proficiency
- A Master’s or Ph.D. in Management, International Business, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in cross-cultural management, international HRM, and leadership in global organizations.
- Experience teaching at the university level (preferred).
- Industry experience in international business, HRM, consulting, or global talent management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on cross-cultural awareness.
