Job Description:
Objectives:
- Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new clients in Italy, collaborating closely with management.
- Act as a Key Account Manager for international clients.
- Provide offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
- Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities:
- Define sales strategies for various products.
- Gather information for sale contracts.
- Coordinate with the technical team to tailor solutions for customers.
- Identify new business opportunities, especially related to replacing Polyamide compounds.
- Negotiate sales terms with management approval.
- Manage customer rates and records.
- Request samples and tests for laboratory analysis.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure contracts and sales volumes are properly managed.
- Anticipate and manage customer and financial risks, delivery issues, and organizational changes.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams (management, sales, R&D, QHSE, finance).
- Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
- Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during meetings.
Your profile:
- Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
- Knowledge of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
- Experience in the plastics industry, especially injection molding, with a successful account management record.
- Analytical thinking and adaptability to market changes.
- Decisive with problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills across departments and levels.
- Effective time management and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
