We are now seeking a Thermal Engineer to join our team in Milan!

What will you do in our team?

1. Respond professionally to all assigned service calls during your shift.
2. Perform work safely, following company safety policies.
3. Adhere to current codes of practice and legislation relevant to your tasks.
4. Maintain a minimum 90% completion rate for planned maintenance.
5. Assist in scheduling, planning, and closing work with the back office, following established procedures.
6. Keep the scheduling team informed of schedule changes and job statuses.
7. Complete daily paperwork accurately and promptly; debrief wireless field service jobs at customer sites when possible.
8. Report sales or service leads to the appropriate department.
9. Support company vision and management decisions.
10. Follow all ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 processes.
11. Follow all Vertiv processes.
12. Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of company vehicles.
13. Protect and calibrate all issued tools and company property.
14. Work collaboratively within the service team to meet business needs.
15. Provide a positive influence on peers.
16. Offer on-site technical support for complex problems.
17. Assist department managers, sales staff, and contract engineers with daily operations.
18. Attend customer meetings as required.
19. Ensure compliance with export/import regulations and supply chain security policies.

What will make you successful?

Experience in a technical service environment with thermal equipment or similar is preferred, but the right personality is equally important.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Self-motivated, with strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, able to work under pressure.
