Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Handles the technical service at the premises of the final customer;
- Service, maintenance, repair, testing and calibration of complex equipment also with minimum supervision;
- Reports issues of the final customer;
- Supports requests from customers or partners.
Duties:
- Performs the service at the customer’s premises based on instructions received by the Service planner, and the results of the service must be shared internally using the work report and the Fusion enterprise system;
- Receives phone calls for service requests via the switchboard, identifies and associates the reference machine to the customer/partner using FUSION, and opens the resulting ticket;
- Domestic and international travel.
Qualifications:
- Five years Industrial Technical diploma with Mechanical / Electrical emphasis;
- Training courses on handling service over the phone / remotely.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing machinery;
- Interpret/read electrical and mechanical drawings, manufacturer guidelines, reference manuals, and instruction guides;
- Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues at customer sites;
- Practiced technical competencies (electrical and mechanical) on equipment produced and installed;
- Practiced validation competencies with reporting according to legislation on equipment produced and installed;
- MS Office Suite and FUSION company enterprise system.
Relational skills:
- Active listening, patience, and effective communication skills to understand and convey opinions, even when not in agreement;
- Problem-solving using rigorous logic and a precise method to find effective solutions, with excellent analytical skills;
- Customer focus: satisfying customer expectations, establishing effective relations, and acting considerately;
- Adherence to customer’s plant and safety regulations;
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience:
- From 2 to 5 years of experience as a travelling technician or in remote technical service.
