Responsibilities

1. Ensure safe operation, maintenance, and repair of the facility’s refrigeration and ventilation plants, reporting to the facility manager.
2. Monitor and supervise storage temperatures of chilled and freezer rooms, as well as refrigerants.
3. Record leakages and implement corrective actions, and perform maintenance on ventilation, ducting, fire dampers, AHUs, and FCUs.
4. Lead the HVAC technicians team by assigning job orders and coordinating spare parts.
5. Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of the entire HVAC system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, focusing on Refrigeration/Ventilation Mechanics.
• Several years of professional experience with industrial HVAC and central cooling systems; experience on cruise ships is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of relevant systems; F-Gas certification is required.
• Team player, guest-oriented, and motivated to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English.
