Job Description: Technical Sales Engineer, Central & Western Europe, Ferrara

Midea Group, a Fortune 500 company and the world's leading air treatment brand by production volume, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team. This role is remote with an option to work from our Pordenone, Italy office.

Responsibilities:
  • Stay current with product launches and transitions to support sales engagement programs, including product and service-related support.
  • Develop new business opportunities with Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs; establish rapport with customers regarding products and services.
  • Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, operations, product management, and quality teams within customer organizations.
  • Present information on new products, project timelines, quality performance, and technical training to customers.
  • Document market and customer insights and communicate findings internally.
  • Assist marketing efforts by monitoring market trends, government regulations, and gathering customer feedback.
  • Support team members in achieving KPIs and participate in promotional activities and trade shows.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related fields.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or R&D.
  • Knowledge of Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products and their applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and at least one European language.
  • Motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally, including weekends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Chinese language is a plus but not required.
